Much of my UI work involves creating simple, fun tools to manage complex file manipulation, navigation, and user content generation.
World-building game and social network. Challenge: to provide a wide range of activities and tools in a simple and intuitive UI, including collecting stickers, decorating, sizing, accessing games, buying from the store, avatar customizing, in-game currency, visiting friends' kingdoms, chat & email with friends, gifting, personalizing, badges, parental panel (COPPA compliant), and navigating between your territories. Platform for personalizing merchandise online that is then manufactured on-demand and drop-shipped to the customer. Challenge: to design a suite of tools enabling a fun and intuitive UI for the most complex and deep personalization on the market, including decorating, automated and bespoke adding of names, and text coloring and sizing tools tied to an order management system with retrievable custom imagery. Branded multi-modal browser environments, Looney Tunes example. Challenge: to organize multiple folders ("planets") of content in a branded desktop, browser, and Linkscape plugin.
